We at Taboostitions  aims to deliver narrative experiences about the lives of individuals struggling with taboos and superstitions, along with a session discussing their importance within history and in the modern world. Each episode covers the taboos and superstitions of a particular part of Southeast Asia, providing an immersive experience in the form of a narrative, describing the lives of a number of individuals plagued with the struggles which come with superstitions, and in turn, taboos. The content of each episode is based on research done by our team, regarding the taboos being covered in the episode, ensuring the knowledge obtained by listeners is based off real-life facts and experiences. Our narrative approach attempts to pull audiences into the world of taboos, aiding in a deeper understanding, even if they have no prior experience with them. As Southeast Asian culture shares a plethora of similarities within its eleven countries, references will be made to said similarities within our episodes, displaying the shared routes and roots between these different cultures.
